Elaine Rudzinski on her appointment as the new Chief.
Members of the East Greenbush Fire District No.3 attended the 113th Annual Conference of the
New York State Association of Fire Chiefs. This year's conference was held in Syracuse, New York from June 13 to 15, 2019.
Members and interested parties of the fire service convene annually over a three-day period to learn of new innovations in the fire service,
take part in meetings, seminars and intense hands on fire training.
Past Chief Timothy Boel, nominated to become a member of the Association's Board of Directors, was
unanimously elected by his peers to this esteemed position. Accompanied by his wife Debbie and by 18 East Greenbush members,
Tim was sworn in to office by incoming President Robert P. Parese in a ceremony on Saturday, June 15. [...]
On Tuesday morning, at approximately 9:45AM, the members of the East Greenbush Fire Department were alerted by
the County Dispatch Center for a second alarm mutual aid request for a Structure fire at 24 Broadway in the City of Rensselaer. Engine 7 responded to
the Fire Scene along with Asst Chief Forgea. Engine 8 stood by with Asst Chief Tooker in the Rensslaer North Station.

On May 11, 2019 at 1307hrs the members of the East Greenbush Fire
Department were dispatched by the Town of East Greenbush Emergency
Communications Center for a fully involved vehicle fire at 79 Gilligan Road.[...]
On Saturday, April 27th, the East Greenbush Fire Company participated in the FASNY state wide program
to recruit new members into the volunteer fire service. "Volunteer fire departments need more than firefighters. You can use your skills to
benefit the volunteer fire service in a number of ways. Visit your local department to see how you can truly make a difference."
At 2:19 PM East Greenbush Fire Dept responded to I-90 for a car accident in the median of I-90.
Due to the damage to the front of one car, one driver needed to be extricated from the car.
During the month of March and April the East Greenbush Fire Company is holding five Fish and Chips Nights
at the Phillips Rd Banquet Hall. Thanks to all our patrons who make these nights a success.
On March 27th 2019 at 3:24 pm East Greenbush Fire Department was dispatched for a confirmed Garage fire on Donnelly Dr. with smoke blowing over Phillips Rd.
1/25/2019 Funeral of Past Chief Art Ferguson of the Averill Park Fire Department.
This morning, Truck 11 under the command of Board Chairman Frank Jenkins, partnered
with our brothers from the Wynantskill Fire Department to hang a flag for the funeral of Past Chief Art Ferguson of the Averill Park Fire Department.

East Greenbush Fire Company Elects Officers for 2019
The gala 102nd Annual Installation and Inspection
of the East Greenbush Fire Company was held at
the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy, New York on Saturday January 19, 2019.
This morning, Chief Bob Lehmann, R-11 and U-11 responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Michael Road.
Chief Lehmann worked with Officers of the East Greenbush Police Department to extricate the patient from the vehicle located in the creek.
